A la suite de sa prise de fonction, le Directeur Général de l’ANCAR Monsieur El Hadji FAYE en compagnie de son staff technique, a effectué une mission dans 03 des 07 directions de zones de l’ANCAR respectivement la zone Bassin Arachidier Sud(BAS) , la zone Sénégal Oriental et Haute Casamance(SOHC) et la zone Basse et Moyenne Casamance ( BMC).
L’objectif de la mission était de rencontrer le personnel ,de connaître le niveau d’avancement de la mise en œuvre des activités , d’échanger avec les organisations de producteurs, les partenaires et les autorités administratives et locales.
Au cours de cette mission, le Dg a pu tenir des séances de travail avec le personnel des directions de zone visitées, d’évaluer le niveau d’atteinte des résultats, d’évaluer la méthodologie de mise en œuvre des activités de terrain,de recueillir les difficultés de mise en œuvre et d’apporter des orientations nécessaires à la bonne exécution des activités face aux nouvelles orientations des autorités dans une volonté de transformation systémique à travers le plan stratégique pour la souveraineté alimentaire du Sénégal.
Le Dg s’est réjoui de ce qu’il a pu voir sur le terrain, du travail colossal abattu par les directeurs de zones et leurs équipes .
Il a pu rencontrer certaines autorités administratives des zones pour partager les nouvelles orientations de l’agence dans une perspective d’amélioration continue de l’ANCAR.
Le DG a aussi tenu des séances de discussion avec les producteurs ,les partenaires et le personnel des directions de zone afin de jeter les bases d’un bon climat social et prendre un nouveau départ dans l’optique d’un conseil de qualité pour une agriculture compétitive diversifiée et durable.
